Nessa Bouchien is a contract assassin, primarily working for Hacienda in the city of Neo-Atlantica. A former Companion, she is a close personal friend of Sierra Navarro, with the two of them having worked together on numerous jobs for Mr Michigan. Bouchien also has significant ties with the Safariland Tribal Union, having grown up on one of High Atlantic’s nature reserves before being scouted by the Companions.
Abilities
Bouchien is considered one of the most capable snipers on High Atlantic, most often hired for overwatch or assassination contracts. This is an unusual skillset for a Companion, originally honed during her time as a young poacher on the reserves and later utilised by the Guild for a series of special operations - operations that ultimately gave her the freedom to escape from their clutches.
In addition to her outstanding marksmanship, Bouchien is also trained in the usual hand-to-hand combat and social manipulation skills of a Companion, though she is unusually lightly modified - it was felt bionics would impede her natural affinity for stealth and concealment.
Uncommonly for a sniper, Bouchien does not favour any particular weapon, adapting her arsenal to suit the specific circumstances of a job. She is known to have a particular love for Accuracy Interstellar weapons, however, for their handmade quality.
Personality
Bouchien is unusually anxious for a contract killer, perhaps explaining her preference for keeping her targets at arms length. Still, she does have the steel of a woman who has taken a life, and her somewhat vulnerable and unassuming demeanour belies a ruthless trigger finger.
